Bud Vases

Not going to lie, these were so much fun to make. You know when you go into a thrift shop and you see all the vases and jars people didn't want anymore? Well, now you can make beautiful decor pieces out of them.

I was always nervous painting on glass. That was until I discovered a primer that grips to the glass. Once you apply it and it's dry, you can paint almost anything on top.

In this case, I use Mint Julep Chalk Mineral Paint, Grunge Glaze and Clear Coat. The result turned out to be a very vintage (almost worn and dirty, but actually very clean) bud vase that I can use as a statement piece almost anywhere.
